Club West Youth Track

The Champions Corner summarizes the accomplishment of our Club West Youth Track athletes in the USATF meet series and our alumni.

USATF MEET SERIES: Club West Youth Track is committed to the enrichment of our youth through track and field. As part of the Club West Youth Track program all athletes are eligible to participate in the track and field meets noted on the Meets page of this web site. Subsequent to this meet series, Club West Youth Track athletes are chosen to participate in the USATF meet series which is held in the Los Angeles area. The USATF meet series is comprised of three meets: Association, Regional, and National Junior Olympics. The Association and Regionals meets are competitions for southern California athletes, where for the Association meet, the top eight athletes in each event move onto the Regional meet. At the Regional meet, the resultant top three athletes in each event move onto the National Junior Olympics. Check out the USATF link under the Link page for more information regarding USATF. The following summarizes the accomplishments of our Club West Youth Track athletes in the USATF meet series in 2007 and 2008.

ALUMNI: Club West Youth Track is very proud of all of our athletes and we take much pride in watching those athletes who choice to continue in track and field or other sports.  The Alumini table at the bottom of this page offers a snapshot of some of our previous athletes and their recent accomplishments.  If we missed someone (i.e., a previous Santa Barbara Running Club athlete), please let us know.
