To promote youth running in our community, Club West Youth
Track will be hosting several meets during the 2009
season (see Schedule/Calendar). These
meets are smaller in size and provide our Club West Youth
Track athletes
with an opportunity to demonstrate the skills that they have
gained and meet athletes outside of the immediate Santa Barbara
Region on their home track, San Marcos High School. These
meets were the favorites of our athletes last year; however,
these meets can not be conducted without parent volunteers – this
is where you come in. Parents will be trained by our
great staff and coaches. Parents from last year can
attest to how much fun it was to volunteer and be down on
the track/field with the athletes. We promise that
you will love it!
We have asked for a $150 FULLY REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT that will
be returned upon your completion of volunteer duties.
Please remember that
the Club does not need your money…
…we need your help working at the meets or in
administration.
